My work is a display of color harmony and mainly consists of intaglio prints, exploring how the ink blends together. With the help of new methods and using found objects as subject matter, I take a more abstract approach in order to understand the process, and to keep me informed about new techniques to add. To me it is truly fascinating how much one can get out of a metal plate by adding much texture and dimension, and enhancing it more with various color combinations.
Besides intaglio printing, my work also consists of screen print and various drawing styles and painting. Mainly focusing on watercolor and oil paints, it is important that I feel the surface I am working on, and use it to be very expressive in my work.
